Mama Isa offers a huge range of pasta classes, where you will learn the history of pasta, the plethora of shapes and preparation techniques, the different names, and also the different dough used and fillings for each shape.

The different classes offered by Mama Isa includes: Tagliatelle pasta class with a manual pasta machine, Tagliatelle pasta made by hand, a Ravioli class, a Tagliatelle-Fettuccine and filled pasta class, a gnocchi class, tortellini, a spaghetti alla chitarra (which literally translates to ‘guitar spaghetti’) class.

With this class, you will learn how to prepare two varieties of pasta like an authentic Italian home cook. You will roll out a sheet of pasta dough by hand and you can try cutting a “sfoglia”, which is a sheet of fresh pasta.  

You will kick off the lesson with an aperitivo and will taste the pasta you have whipped up. You will then learn to make a delicious tiramisu that will end off your meal on a sweet and light note. Of course, the meal will be paired with Prosecco wine!

This class is special as you will meet your instructor, who is a professional chef, at Venice’s Rialto Bridge in the morning. You guys will then set off together to shop for ingredients at the Rialto open-air market, which is one of the city’s oldest and liveliest.
