He was also the holder of the Guinness World Record for the largest waist. It measured 119 inches in 1987. Hudson began gaining weight rapidly since he was sixteen years old due to hypothyroidism problems where thyroid hormones were not be amplified into the necessary amounts for his body, which slowed down his metabolism rate and led to excessive weight gain over time. On top of this, he ate Mountains of food provided by others every day without any physical activity whatsoever. He died in 1991.
