Venice Spring Fling this Weekend: Live Music & Art Festival in Venice!

It’s time for the 5th Annual Venice Spring Fling Festival  that brings live music and art to the beach! Live music with headlining bands: Trulio Disgracias, featuring bassist Norwood Fisher from Fishbone and Dr. Maddvibe & the Missin’ Links with Angelo Moore, Fishbone lead vocalist, frontman and rabble rouser! Best of all – it’s FREE and right here in the heart of Venice!

There is a host of more live music throughout the day, along with Venice artists displaying their latest for the public to see. This is located on the concrete  area between the beach and Ocean Front Walk at Windward Ave. Just walk toward the beach and listen for the beats and look for the crowd. The finale will include an all-star jam with members of both bands.

Producer Milton Rosenberg, in his tenth year of free festival production in the community, notes that this year’s Venice Spring Fling celebration is a special one. “I couldn’t be prouder of the level of talent we are able to offer the people of Venice this year at the Spring Fling. These musicians and artists are world-class, and we’re able to celebrate them right here in our backyard. This festival was inspired by the original intent of Abbot Kinney: for Venice as a place to celebrate music, art, dance, and life, right here at the Pacific Ocean. Venice Spring Fling 5 celebrates the creative spirit in all of us.”
