Venice Art Crawl this Thursday, March 19!

Get inspired and Wowed at the quarterly Venice Art Crawl, a free art walk with cutting edge visual art by local artists, along with music  and performance aspects.  The quarterly art crawl is at various locations in Venice Beach, from 6-10pm. This quarter features a block of Westminster closed down just for the event!

The block of Westminster between Abbot Kinney and Riviera will feature artist Zach Touchon at Deasy Penner Real Estate Office, 308 Westminster Avenue  7pm – 10pm. His new work from the series entitled “The Chaos and Control Theory” will be on display.

Also on Westminster, Isabelle Duvivier, Architect and Mapmaker will showcase her art and host a discussion with the theme House and Habitat. 350 Westminster Ave 7pm – 9pm.

Also on the same block, Artists and Designers Mashup presents In Heros We Trust” 300 Westminster Ave   6 – 10pm.  While these are the only details at press time,  we’re sure this will be an interesting one to visit.

There will be other venues in this immediate area hosting art exhibits, so the best thing is to get there early to snag a parking spot, then check out some art!

One more  hotspot is Citizens of the World at Westminster School.  Check out a mural of Ballona Wetlands, along with Sandra Sandia leading a drum circle, exhibiting photographers Carolina Ines and Steven Perilloux with performance art, music and more. It’s sure to be an artistic force at Art Crawl! While the address is on Abbot Kinney, it’s right there on Westminster at Abbot Kinney (you can’t miss it). Westminster School, 1010 Abbot Kinney Blvd, 6pm – 10pm.

AFTERCRAWL Party: This is sure to be a fun one too, hosted by by Dogtown Artists United in collaboration with Venice Ale House. Half A Dozen Roses, 4 Rose Ave. 10pm – 1 am.

These are a  few highlights recommended by My Venice Life for  the Venice Art Crawl. Many venues on Abbot Kinney Bl will host  Ar Crawl events there. Enjoy and Explore!
